News & Events

  • All information for parents is sent via the weekly newsletter which is emailed to parents every Friday. We are only able to send this to contact number 1 on our system so please ensure you check this information at your parents evening events and update as needed. If you do not receive the newsletter, it is always available via the school website. Please make sure you check with the office if you do not receive these emails/texts so we can ensure there is not an issue with your account.
  • In addition to the newsletter, text messages or reminder emails may be sent for events such as upcoming trips when consent/payment is needed. We also have a notice board at the front gate every morning listing the important notices for the week.
  • All parents are issued with a parent pay account which includes services for breakfast club, lunch time meals and all trips and events. If you do not have access to your account, please contact the school office.
  • Pupils must have the full and correct school uniform (and PE kit on days when required). All members of staff monitor this and parents will receive a phone call if your child is not in the correct uniform. A full list of the items can be found under the 'Parent Information- uniform' tab.
  • Take A Look Tuesday's continue to run this new school year. Sessions are 8:30am-8:50am in your child's classroom.
  • If your child is in KS2, please ensure they have a healthy snack provided for break time.
  • Please ensure your child comes to school with everything they need during the school day. The school office will not make phone calls for left items such as PE kits and reading books.

Attendance:

  • If your child is absent from school, you must notify the school office by calling 01753522048 and speaking to a member of staff or leaving a message.
  • If your child has a medical appointment, you must visit the office to provide evidence of this appointment. Without this, your child's time off will be unauthorized.
  • Any holiday/travelling leave taken during the school year will be unauthorized unless for truly exceptional circumstances. If you for any reason must take your child out of school during term time, please speak to the school office to find out more about reporting procedures.
