St Ethelbert’s has a 10 place specialist Speech and Language Resource Base for pupils with Educational Health Care Plans for speech and language. Four of these places are allocated to Early Years pupils. The Resource base is fully inclusive, with pupils receiving support in their mainstream classes for core subjects, and specialist speech and language interventions in the resource.

Staff who work in our resource base are our trust Speech and Language Therapist, Miss Jade Lau and our Higher Level Teaching Assistant, Ms Heidi Lau.
